Christian Book Reviews

Growing up in a churched family gave me exposure to Christian books ever since my childhood. In spite of this I have not always found the time to do a lot of reading, but I had always been faithful to read a little scripture on most days, usually before going to bed.

Later on, I was given a daily devotional written by Billy Graham titled Unto The Hills. I've since read this devotional on a few occasions and often reach for it from time to time, even today.

I feel that the Bible is the core for Christian writing and will not read a spiritual book that varies too far from Christianities accepted Biblical truths.

In the past I had relied on the Bible for the large majority of my Christian reading. Within the last few years I have branched out quite a bit in my reading. Many of these selections in these Christian book reviews have been books that were loaned to me by relatives and others have been chosen when I was searching for more information and understanding on a certain topic. It is my personal opinion that God has given writing talent to many and they can use scriptural truths while writing in their own styles to help us in our day-to-day walk and also while searching for the answers to our doubts and questions.

It is my hope that we can all turn off the television a little earlier and start reading. Let's start feeding our mind; I feel that God will richly bless us for it.
