The Shack

Where Tragedy Confronts Eternity

The Shack is authored by William P. Young and is Christian fiction.

I had looked at The Shack in a couple of Christian book catalogs and considered buying it, but when I saw it in Walmart it was too easy to pick it up and buy it. I was between books and waiting for my next shipment so I needed a book anyway.

Young's book is about a man whose daughter had been abducted and murdered and his relationship with God in the following years. This is where it gets real interesting and boy does he meet God.

In a fictional sense this book deals with our relationship with God giving us an inside look at the trinity.

You have to be able to use your imagination and examine your relationship with God at the same time.

This book isn’t the gripping fiction that some write but it is a great story wrapped around thought provoking theology.

I recommend that you pick up The Shack, get ready to use your imagination and draw closer to God.
